Adrenal & Hormone Panel
The DUTCH Plus™ offers an extensive assessment of sex and adrenal hormones and their metabolites. It also assesses the Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR) and includes the insomnia cortisol sample. This test cannot be ordered for patients under 12 years of age. This is a urine test, no blood draws are required. Cost $600 including labs and analysis.
Micronutrient Testing
Cellular Micronutrient Assay is blood test. The Cellular Micronutrient Assay measures the effect of micronutrients on a patient's immune function to identify nutrient insufficiencies. This test cannot be ordered for patients under 9 years of age. Cost $350 including labs and analysis..
Environmental Wellness Panel
Our Hair Elements panel analysis provides information regarding recent and ongoing exposure to potentially toxic metals, especially methylmercury and arsenic, and the time-averaged status of specific nutrient elements. This noninvasive screening test requires only .25 grams of hair.
-
Toxic elements may be 200 to 300 times more highly concentrated in hair than in blood or urine. Therefore, hair is the tissue of choice for Doctor's Data for detecting exposure to elements such as antimony, arsenic, cadmium, aluminum, lead, and mercury.
-
You should consider this lab if you struggle with the following:
-
Alopecia (Hair Loss): This test can help identify mineral imbalances or toxic element exposures that may contribute to hair loss.
-
Depression: Certain mineral deficiencies or toxic element exposures have been linked to mood disorders, including depression.
-
Toxic Element Exposure: For individuals who may have been exposed to toxic elements, either through their environment or occupation, this test can assess the levels of these elements in their body.
-
Excessive Fish Consumption: High fish consumption can increase the risk of mercury exposure. The test can monitor mercury levels and other heavy metals often found in fish.
-
Fatigue: Chronic fatigue can sometimes be linked to imbalances in essential minerals or exposure to toxic elements.
-
Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Certain mineral imbalances, such as high sodium or low potassium, can contribute to hypertension.
-
Malabsorption: Patients with digestive issues leading to malabsorption of nutrients can benefit from this test to assess their levels of essential minerals.
-
Parkinson's-like Symptoms: Exposure to certain heavy metals has been associated with neurological symptoms similar to Parkinson's disease.
-
Impaired Glucose Tolerance: Mineral imbalances can affect glucose metabolism, and this test can help identify such imbalances.
-
Vision Problems: Some elements, when imbalanced, can contribute to deteriorating vision or other eye health issues.
-
Sexual Impotence: Toxic elements or mineral deficiencies can impact sexual health, including impotence.
-
Decreased Testosterone Production: Certain minerals are essential for hormone production, including testosterone. Imbalances can lead to decreased production.
-
It's crucial to understand that the Hair Elements Test should not be used. Cost $200 including labs and anaylsis.
Parasite Testing
This Culture, PCR + Parasitology stool test is an important tool for identifying imbalances in intestinal microflora. It includes comprehensive bacteriology and yeast cultures to identify the presence of beneficial flora, imbalanced flora, and dysbiotic flora, as well as detection of infectious pathogens and parasites and antimicrobial susceptibility testing. Cost $300.
